verrocchio in 2020
12 months filled with changes and new opportunities
Review
The year 2020 was associated with major changes for many people around the world due to the Covid 19 situation. This year was also associated with many challenges for the verrocchio Institute. In recent years, our business model was very much based on personal consulting and many face-to-face events, which were cut back to almost zero in March 2020 with the first lockdown. Therefore, already at the beginning of March we changed our strategic direction and focused on 2 new core activities:
- Implementation of our existing digital competence in online collaboration into new products
- Strategic expansion of our digital product portfolio and implementation of the existing concept of a digital innovation platform
Since we strengthened our team with two new colleagues in the middle of the year, we were able to work at full speed on these issues and implement them in a very short time.
Perhaps the following look at the verrocchio year will also help many other entrepreneurs to be able to react in times of crisis and make the right decisions:

First cancellations of international workshops
Online Collaboration
First cancellations of international workshop lead to an increased integration of digital collaboration tools into customer projects. We strengthen our existing knowledge about online collaboration tools.

First Lockdown in Germany
Launch Remote Innovation Facilitator
Due to the many requests from customers for support, we are developing the Remote Innovation Facilitator training. In March we will start 4 courses with 20 participants each.

Remote Team Facilitator
The demand for knowledge about online collaboration outside the Innovators community leads to the launch of the Remote Team Facilitor training. The first 3 courses are fully booked within a few days.

Remote Facilitator Website
In order to simplify the booking of the new Remote Facilitator courses, we are developing a new website that will also serve as a content platform for the topic of online collaboration. The first 4 articles on the topic of online workshops are published in German and English.

We are using the knowledge gained from the new Remote Facilitator platform to launch the verrocchio Campus, a platform that includes online learning, community and store.
